There were no serious injuries on this year's expedition. Of the injuries that did occur the most serious was a small flake of rock, which went into someone's eye whilst placing a bolt. This was washed out with eyewash.

As in previous years there were a few cases of diarrhoea. This may be attributable to a water bottle, which various people drank from and had come from China. Whilst water at the Ario campsite was mostly sterilised with iodine, that collected from the Bobias spring was not.

A few people suffered blisters and the like on the carries up and down the hill.
