2nd Week (10th - 12th May) Otter Hole / Forest of Dean trip:
Otter Hole is an extremely pretty trip - check out a few images here http://www.zen159313.zen.co.uk/rfdcc/sites/caves/otter_hole/oh_gallery.htm There are limited spaces to get on the Otter Hole trip, so feel free to register your interest with me ahead of time (e.g. now). The time underground will be longer than many of our new members will have experienced so far, mostly so we have lots of time for photography and exploring. If you're unsure that you'll be OK on the trip then I can provide guidance. Further to the Otter Hole trip, there are many more caves in the Forest of Dean, suitable for first-time novices and upwards.

3rd Week (17th - 19th May) Mendip
We're staying at the Wessex Caving Club, with all of the classic Mendip caves on offer. These are suitable for first-time novices and also more experienced cavers, offering some of the most enjoyable and challenging caves in the UK. I'm in the process of booking trips to Upper Flood Swallet (waiting to be confirmed). Again, it's amazingly beautiful in there, and a bit arduous. Check-in with me to book a space ahead of the time. Images and description here: https://www.mendipcavinggroup.org.uk/upper-flood-swallet/  As a bonus, and because I've not yet been there, I'm also trying to book a Charterhouse trip (waiting to be confirmed). I'm actually not sure what to expect from this trip, definitely booking it to cross it off of my list - register with me to book your spot!

5th Week (31st May - 2nd June) Yorkshire
We'll be staying at the YSS with access to some of the best SRT trips in the UK. Hopefully we'll be running this trip joined with Cambridge, so bring your blues! This is the perfect chance for those itching to get more experience on SRT, and even for those that want to try it for the first time. We can book their SRT apparatus on-site for some training above-ground. If you're an experience caver with plans in mind, please let me know of any specific permits you would like. Think of any exchange trips that we could do with Cambridge.

8th Week  (21st - 23rd June) South Wales
We'll be staying at SWCC, and will hopefully also make this a joint weekend. Loads of trips are available, ranging from novice to experienced. There will be classic trips into OFD, and I'll see if we can get access to Dan yr Ogof - summer is a great time of year for wet caving :) Again, if you'd like to get on the DyO trip then book with me ahead of time.
