Hi all at Ario

[The below only assumes it is upstream 1/5...]

Excellent news! It makes the "shot in the eye" climb feel real worthwhile. [The eye still reminds at nights me of the battle scene "Ah, I took a bit of shrapnel at the front in 01", reaching for a pint. "Three day campaign, but we broke through". "Then took one in the ribs", mild cough as the pint descends. "We had to push on on our bellies through the mire, didn't give up"." Just when we'd got through I was recalled by the regiment. Damned bad luck, what!"]

For someone who's been there, where is the way up? I didn't have time to push all the roof area. Above the sump, directly, was blank [I think]. Further back at "Totem chamber" there were possibilities of going up. I assume the downstream pitch is into the aven [shot in the eye]. But IF NOT where...?. What I was hoping to find is another stream [upstream]. Maybe you could leave just a few virgin metres for an old timer to wander up? [I could bring my capping system].

Envious, but really pleased

Paul

PS don't climb up too far or you'll surface.

PPS Don't look up at the lead climber. [Damned eye, still gives me gyp, what]
